After 4 static classifiers he was raring to run with a gun… here is how it went:
A few hiccups, but pretty good for the first time!
What were the hiccups? In the spirit of constructive criticism click “Read more” to see…
| 0:10 | he could be standing closer to the door, no need to have body in front of window, just the hands. |
| 0:16 | too far into the port |
| 0:18-20 | shoot targets right to left, which had him leaning away from his next destination. |
| 0:21 | OOOPS. Ran past a target. |
| 0:24 | GOOD. Reload on the go. |
| 0:24-25 | Movement hoppy. Keep turret stable, feet moving fast. |
| 0:28 | gun facing up, back range. Slower, but possibly safety violation as well. Keep gun level, pull in to chest, rotate turret, move to next target |
| 0:31 | missed reload opportunity |
| 0:39 | pays with static reload |
| 0:44 | ends with awesome clean shots on steel. |
Great run for a first time! Good solid fundamentals. 132 points out of 140 means he was shooting mostly Alphas. And a 5th place on the stage. Quite impressive for a 1st run.
Recommended remedial steps:
- 2 more magazines and belt storage so he can be free to reload at opportunities
- dry fire practice reloads
